The last coaching session ends the way many do.
A few smiles. A pause. A sense that there’s nothing left to say.
I close my notebook.
My client logs off.
The screen goes dark. And then—there it is.
Not sadness exactly. Not pride either.
Something softer. Heavier! ❤️
For months we have been in a shared space. Six. Nine. Twelve. Sometimes more -:
🌿 A place where thoughts were spoken before they were ready.
🍁 Where silence was allowed to stay.
🌿 Where stories were told, undone, and told again—differently this time.
And now that space no longer exists.
It feels, for a moment, like I’m sending a part of myself into the world.
Not the part that knows.
The part that witnessed.
They walk away carrying something invisible.
No notes. No framework. No checklist.
🌿 What they have instead is a way of sitting with themselves.
🍁 A way of noticing the story forming in their mind—and choosing how to tell it.
🌿 A habit of turning inward without getting lost.
🍁 A quiet confidence that they can listen to themselves now. I don’t follow them. I don’t need to.
The bond doesn’t end.
It changes shape.
Sometimes I imagine them months later— paused in the middle of a difficult moment, hearing their own voice differently, asking themselves a question they once needed help asking.
And I smile. 😇 ❤️
Because this is how the work continues.
Not with me beside them.
But within them. 💫
I am blessed to be part of work that changes lives not loudly, but deeply—one inner turning at a time 😇 🙏
